In Hamburg erfolgt der achtstreifige Ausbau der Hochstraße Elbmarsch (Brückenbauwerk K20), der derzeit längsten Straßenbrücke Deutschlands, südlich des Elbtunnels. Die ca. 3,8 km lange Hochstraße ist mit jeweils drei Richtungsfahrstreifen auf zwei baulich getrennten Überbauten (Rifa Hannover, Rifa Flensburg) ausgebildet. Im Vorfeld des anspruchsvollen Großprojekts wurden aufgrund der besonderen bautechnischen Herausforderungen und zur Planungsoptimierung vorgezogene Maßnahmen geplant und ausgeführt. Mit den daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnissen konnte ein hohes Maß an Planungssicherheit erzielt werden. Der Praxistest ist mit Beginn der Ausführung der Gesamtmaßnahme im letzten Jahr gestartet.

Widening of the elevated highway Elbmarsch in Hamburg - Part 1: Overview of the complete project
Germany's longest road bridge at present, the elevated road Elbmarsch (Bridge construction K20) south of the Elbe Tunnel in Hamburg, is currently being expanded to eight lanes. This elevated road with an approximate length of 3.8 km consists of three directional lanes on two structurally separated superstructures (heading towards Hannover and Flensburg). In the run-up to this ambitious large-scale project, early measures were planned and implemented due to the special structural challenges and for planning optimization. With the resulting findings, a high degree of planning reliability could be achieved. The practical test started with the beginning of the implementation of the overall measure last year.
