Abstract:	Die modulare Konstruktion von Brückenbauwerken stellt in vielen Ländern mittlerweile den anerkannten Stand der Technik dar und wird dort stetig eingesetzt und weiterentwickelt. Insbesondere im europäischen Ausland, in den USA und im asiatischen Raum wird bereits eine Vielzahl der neuen Brücken in Segmentbauweise aus Stahlbeton- oder Spannbetonfertigteilen errichtet. Auch modulare Bauweisen in Stahlverbund kommen zum Einsatz. Die Vorteile von Modulbauweisen im Brückenbau liegen neben der qualitativ hochwertigen Fertigung der Einzelteile im Werk insbesondere in der deutlich verkürzten Bauzeit. Vor allem mit Blick auf das hoch ausgelastete Straßennetz werden auch in Deutschland (insbesondere für Ersatzneubauten) Entwürfe benötigt, die in kurzer Bauzeit bei minimaler Beeinträchtigung der Umwelt und des Verkehrs realisiert werden können. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden verschiedene Modulbauweisen für den Verbundbrückenbau vorgestellt. Es wird zunächst ein kurzer Rückblick gegeben, bevor auf aktuelle Tendenzen und neue Entwicklungen eingegangen wird. Modular construction methods in composite bridge construction - review and current developments for bridges with small and medium spans The modular construction of bridge structures is now the recognized state of the art in many countries and is used there on a regular basis. Especially in other European countries and the USA, a large number of new bridges are already being built in segmented construction from reinforced or pre-stressed concrete elements. Modular steel-composite construction methods are also used. The advantages of modular bridge construction are the high-quality production of the individual components in the factory and, in particular, the significantly reduced construction time. Especially in view of the highly utilized road network, designs are also needed in Germany that can be realized in a short construction time with minimal impact on the environment and traffic. In this paper different modular designs for composite bridge construction will be presented. First a short review is given before current trends and new developments are discussed.
