Abstract:	Das Landschaftsbild an vielen Gewässern wird durch teils beachtliche Bauwerke des Wasserbaus geprägt. Sie dienen u. a. der Ermöglichung und Aufrechterhaltung der Schifffahrt sowie dem Hochwasserschutz. Ein sicherer Betrieb derer ist daher unerlässlich. Viele Bauwerke sind jedoch bereits am Ende ihrer Nutzungsdauer angekommen und bedürfen besonderer Beachtung. Die Bewertung, Nachrechnung und evtl. Instandsetzung alter Stahlwasserbaukonstruktionen bietet hierbei spannende Aspekte und Besonderheiten, die zu berücksichtigen sind. Recalculation and refurbishment of existing triple-web gates on the Weser river The landscape appearance on many natural waters is characterized by sometimes remarkable hydraulic structures. Their purposes include, but are not limited to, the facilitation and maintenance of navigation, as well as flood protection. As a consequence, their safe operation is essential. Many of these structures, however, have reached the end of their lifetime and need special observation. The assessment, recalculation and potential refurbishment of old hydraulic structures reveal exiting and special aspects to be considered.
