Abstract:	Eine fachgerechte Herstellung des Korrosionsschutzes von Stahlbauwerken erfordert, dass die zu beschichtenden Oberflächen frei von sichtbaren und visuell nicht erkennbaren Verunreinigungen sind. Als geeignete Möglichkeiten für den Nachweis von Ölen, Fetten und Wachsen enthält das Regelwerk hauptsächlich Verfahren, die auf der Grundlage des Benetzungsverhaltens von Flüssigkeiten basieren. Für die Anwendung des Wassersprühtests werden an einem realen Bauwerk und an Probeblechen ermittelte Erkenntnisse mitgeteilt. Des Weiteren wird über Erfahrungen bei der Prüfung mittels Testtinten berichtet.
