Vibrator driving installation of offshore wind turbines - challenges of the fatigue verification Monopile foundations for offshore wind turbines have a market share of 81.2 %. There is actual a tendency noticeable to change the installation method from impact driving to vibrator driving. The vibro driving covers cost reduction potentials related to the needed installation time as well as related to the needed noise mitigation effort. Within this article for the innovative vibro driving the expected stress level and the governing parameters impacting the stress level within the steel will be defined. The effects like during changing the axial stiffness properties of soil-pile interaction will be presented in a general form and specific for the working range of the vibro hammer. The fatigue verification method, the stress level as well as the utilization ration will be analyzed. |
