Testreferenzjahre sind durch den Deutschen Wetterdienst entwickelte stündliche meteorologische Daten für ein komplettes Jahr, die je nach Art der Anwendung einen repräsentativen Witterungsverlauf wiedergeben. Die Klimadaten sind ein wesentlicher Bestandteil für die Beurteilung des sommerlichen Wärmeschutzes. Der momentane Ansatz der Testreferenzjahre führt immer wieder zu Schwierigkeiten, da dieser sehr vereinfacht und pauschalisiert erfolgt. Durch den Klimawandel und dadurch entstehende Extremwetterlagen ist die Verwendung geeigneter Klimadaten unerlässlich. Hier stellen die neuentwickelten ortsgenauen Testreferenzjahre des Deutschen Wetterdienstes aus dem Jahr 2017 eine mögliche Alternative dar.

Climate data as an essential component for the assessment of summer thermal insulation
Test reference years are hourly meteorological data developed by the German Weather Service for a complete year, which, depending on the type of application, reflect a representative weather pattern. The test reference years are an essential component for the assessment of summer heat insulation. The current approach of the test reference years always leads to difficulties, as they are very simplified and generalized. Due to climate change and the resulting extreme weather conditions, the use of suitable climate data is essential. Here, the newly developed location-specific test reference years of the German Weather Service from 2017 represent a possible alternative.
