Abstract:	Herrn Dipl.-Ing. Wolfang Eilzer zur Vollendung des 65. Lebensjahres gewidmet. Das Vorhaben “Ersatzneubau Strombrückenzug” soll die vorhandene Brückenverbindung der bestehenden Anna-Ebert-Brücke ersetzen. Diese weist aufgrund des Hochwassers 2013 und gemäß aktueller Gutachten einen irreversiblen und nicht reparablen statischen Totalschaden auf und muss zwingend umgehend und schnellstmöglich durch den Ersatzneubau entlastet werden. Weiterhin haben die Hochwasserereignisse 2002 und 2013 gezeigt, dass der bestehende Verkehrszug über die Anna-Ebert-Brücke als Evakuierungsverbindung im Gefahrenfall nicht mehr genutzt werden kann. Insofern ist auch aus diesem Grund die Wiederherstellung einer leistungsfähigen Brückenverbindung im Sinne des Zivilschutzes zwingend und kurzfristig geboten. Herzstück der innerstädtischen Neubauplanung aus zwei Brückenbauwerken und sechs Knotenpunkten ist die Schrägseilbrücke über die Alte Elbe. Replacement of the river crossing in Magdeburg, Germany: design and construction (part 1) The project “replacement of the river crossing” will replace the present bridge connection of the existing Anna-Ebert-Bridge. Due to the flood in 2013 and according to current expert reports, this bridge shows irreversible and irreparable structurally damages and must be relieved immediately and as quickly as possible by a new bridge. Furthermore, the flood events of 2002 and 2013 have shown that the existing bridges can no longer be used as an evacuation connection in case of danger. In this respect, the restoration of an efficient bridge connection in the sense of civil protection is also imperative and necessary in the short term. The new cable-stayed bridge across the Alte Elbe will be the heart of this inner-city development project consisting of two bridges and six junctions.
