Abstract:	Sandwichelemente reagieren unter Brandbeanspruchung in Abhängigkeit von ihrem Aufbau unterschiedlich. Um eine geeignete Auswahl und Anwendung zu ermöglichen, ist deshalb eine Klassifizierung des Brandverhaltens und der Feuerwiderstandsklasse erforderlich. Da eine solche Klassifizierung nicht für alle Anwendungsfälle im Brandprüfstand untersucht werden kann, sind verifizierte Extrapolationsregeln erforderlich, die eine auf den spezifischen Anwendungsfall bezogene Klassifizierung ermöglichen. Im Rahmen eines von der Versuchsanstalt für Stahl, Holz und Steine des KIT durchgeführten Forschungsvorhabens wurden Wände aus Sandwichelementen mit Mineralwollkern unter ETK-Brandbeanspruchung geprüft und die Versuchsergebnisse mit den Extrapolationsregeln der DIN EN 15254-5 verglichen sowie darauf basierende Vorschläge zur Extrapolation erarbeitet. For the selection and application, a classification of the fire behaviour and the fire resistance class is required. Since the classification cannot be investigated for all applications, verified extrapolation rules are required to provide a classification based on the building application. As part of a research program which was conducted by the Versuchsanstalt für Stahl, Holz und Steine of the KIT, walls made of sandwich panels with a mineral wool core were tested and the test results were compared with the extrapolation rules of DIN EN 15254-5 and suggestions for extrapolation based on the test results were developed.
