Abstract:	In der überarbeiteten Fassung des Eurocodes 7 (prEN 1997-1:2021-11) wird der für die Bemessung anzusetzende Wert für die geotechnische Kenngröße zukünftig als repräsentativer Wert bezeichnet, der sich aus dem charakteristischen Wert oder dem Nominalwert ableiten lässt. Während der Nominalwert mit den bisherigen konventionellen Schätzmethoden festgelegt wird und damit der bisherigen Definition des charakteristischen Werts entspricht, wird der charakteristische Wert in prEN 1997-1:2021-11 mit statistischen Verfahren ermittelt. Dazu wird in prEN 1997-1:2021-11 ein statistisches Verfahren empfohlen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird eine neue statistische Methode erläutert, die alle Anforderungen nach prEN 1997-1:2021-11 erfüllt und zudem die Möglichkeit der Berücksichtigung von Vorinformationen zulässt. Die neue Methode ist im Vergleich zum statistischen Verfahren in prEN 1997-1:2021-11 als robuster anzusehen, wie anhand von Anwendungsbeispielen gezeigt wird. Harmonization in Geotechnics - a statistical method to determine representative values for ground properties considering prior knowledge In the revised version of Eurocode 7 (prEN 1997-1:2021-11), the value for the geotechnical parameter to be applied in the design will in future be referred to as the representative value, which can be derived from the characteristic or nominal value. While the nominal value is determined using conventional estimation methods, the characteristic value is determined using statistical methods. For this purpose, an applicable statistical method is recommended in prEN1997-1:2021-11. In this article, a statistical method is explained that fulfils all requirements according to prEN 1997-1:2021-11 and also allows the possibility of taking into account prior information. Compared to the statistical method in prEN 1997-1:2021-11, the new method is to be considered more robust, as shown in application examples.
