Abstract:	Im Rahmen des vorliegenden Beitrags werden werkstoffliche Untersuchungen an historischen Stahlkonstruktionen beschrieben. Im Zuge des Umbaus der Messehalle 12 in Leipzig sollen Teile der ursprünglichen Tragkonstruktion denkmalgerecht ertüchtigt und in das neu entstehende Gebäude integriert werden. Um die Standsicherheit nachweisen zu können, wurden Materialuntersuchungen der Stähle und der Nietverbindungen sowohl unter Umgebungstemperatur als auch bei erhöhten Temperaturen durchgeführt. Aus den Versuchsergebnissen wurden in Analogie zu den Regelungen des Eurocode 3 Rechenwerte für die Nachweisführung abgeleitet. In the course of the reconstruction of the exhibition hall 12 in Leipzig, parts of the original load-bearing structure are to be restored and integrated into the new building. In order to verify the resistance of the structure, material tests were carried out on the steels and the riveted joints both under ambient temperature and at elevated temperatures. In analogy to the regulations of Eurocode 3, calculation values for the verification were derived from the test results.
