Abstract:	Es werden festgestellte Schäden, deren Ursachen und die Möglichkeiten Mängel nachträglich zu beheben erläutert. Die Schäden lassen sich grob vereinfacht als den Werkstoff zersetzende Einflüsse (Korrosion) oder auf eine Überschreitung des Tragwerkwiderstands (Standsicherheitsnachweis) zurückführen. Die Ursachen für diese Schadensbilder liegen in Planungsfehlern, in Ausführungsmängeln aber auch auf im Planungsstadium noch fehlendes theoretisches Grundlagenwissen (z.B. Koppelfugenproblematik, Tausalzangriff, Karbonatisierung durch zunehmende Umweltverschmutzung). So vielfältig wie die Schadensbilder sind, so weitgespannt sind auch die Möglichkeiten der Sanierung. Diese müssen für jeden einzelnen Fall optimiert werden.
