Abstract:	Der doppelstegige Plattenbalken trägt tordierende Lasten durch eine Kombination von reiner Drillung und Wölbkrafttorsion. Als Alternative zur klassischen Theorie der gemischten Torsion (Wlassow) wurde das hierin beschriebene Näherungsverfahren entwickelt. Das Näherungsverfahren basiert auf einer Energiebetrachtung und eignet sich insbesondere für die Berechnung gerader oder gekrümmter Beton- und Spannbetonbrücken. Für den Praktiker liegt ein wesentlicher Vorteil darin, daß keine Differentialgleichungen gelöst werden müssen. Der Rechengang wird anhand von einfachen Beispielen erläutert.
