Abstract:	In sattelgelagerten, unversteiften, horizontalen, kreiszylindrischen Behältern treten die größten Schalenbeanspruchungen in der Regel in der Umgebung des Sattels auf. Diese können die Ursache für Versagen infolge Materialermüdung oder für Beulversagen oder für Versagen infolge plastischen Eindrückens des Sattels in die Schale sein. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden vereinfachte Bemessungsregeln gegen die drei genannten Versagensarten vorgestellt und mit Hilfe eines Anwendungsbeispiels erläutert.
