Abstract:	Bei der Generalplanung handelt es sich um die Zusammenfassung sowohl der Objektplanung als auch der Fachlplanungen für ein Bauwerk in einem Vertrag. Auch zusätzliche Leistungen in Form des Projektmanagements gehören dazu. Die Generalplanung wird einerseits von Bauherren gefordert, andererseits bietet sie auch den Planern die Möglichkeit, nicht nur organisatorisch und fachlich, sondern auch auf die Qualität der Planung stärker Einfluß zu nehmen. Die Aufgaben des Projektmanagements im Rahmen der Generalplanung, die Risiken und die Möglichkeiten der Honorierung werden ausführlich behandelt.
