Abstract:	Die Zuverlässigkeit bestehender Eisenbahnbrücken soll nach [1] durch die Belastbarkeit B Index UIC nachgewiesen werden, die die auf das Lastbild UIC-71 bezogene effektive Tragfähigkeit von Brückenelementen ausdrückt. Im Beitrag werden die probabilistischen Grundlagen des neuen Zuverlässigkeitskonzeptes von bestehenden Eisenbahnbrücken vorgestellt, welches die sogenannte Betriebsbelastbarkeit verwendet. Mit den Methoden der Zuverlässigkeitstheorie werden die Versagenswahrscheinlichkeit P Index ft und der entsprechende Ziel-Sicherheitsindex beta Index t für die Restlebensdauer bestehender Eisenbahnbrückenteile bestimmt.
