Title:
Abstract:	Die alleinige Belastung eines dünnwandigen I-Profils durch Biegung um die schwache Achse ist gut geeignet, die Güte der Methode der wirksamen Breite zu prüfen. Sowohl die Aufteilung der wirksamen Breiten als auch die Berücksichtigung plastischer Bereiche wirkt sich hier signifikant aus. Am Fachgebiet Stahlbau der TU Berlin wurden deshalb 16 Versuche zur Klärung durchgeführt und ein geeignetes FEM-Modell für weitere Studien entwickelt. Die Ergebnisse werden mit den Regelungen der DIN 18 800 und des Eurocode 3 sowie einem neuen Ansatz von Brune verglichen. Darauf aufbauend wird ein eigener Berechnungsansatz vorgestellt, der die Tragmomente befriedigend annähert.
