Abstract:	Südlich des Potsdamer Platzes wird auf einer Fläche von ca. 15000 m² die Bebauung der A + T Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft realisiert. Das Grundstück wird mittig durch den Tunnel der Linie U2 geteilt und nördlich durch die S-Bahn tangiert. Für das Hochhaus, das in nördlicher Richtung die S-Bahn bis zu 11 m überkragt und in westlicher Richtung die U-Bahn mit 20 m überspannt, wurde eine indirekte Lastabtragung vorgesehen. Diese Lastabtragung wird u. a. durch ca. 12 m hohe Spannbetonträger realisiert, welche die vertikalen Lasten des Hochhauses aufnehmen und auf Bohrpfähle und Schlitzwände weiterleiten. Als Gegengewicht zum Hochbau steht auf diesem Waagebalken die nördliche Hälfte des Gebäude-Block 2. Die Stahlstützen des Hochhauses wurden am Fußpunkt mit Pressen versehen. Das erlaubt ein Nachjustieren und somit ein Reagieren auf sich einstellende Differenzsetzungen der hochbelasteten kombinierten Pfahlplattengründung.
