Abstract:	Als Beitrag zur EXPO 2000 enwickelte die Stiftung ZERI (zero emission research initiative) das Projekt eines Pavillons aus dem nachwachsenden Rohstoff Bambus, der zunächst als Prototyp in Kolumbien errichtet und erprobt wurde und nun in Hannover der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert wird. Die Ausführungspläne, die Tragwerksanalyse und die experimentellen Nachweise, die für eine Baugenehmigung in Deutschland erforderlich waren, sowie die Errichtung des Pavillons in Hannover sind in diesem Aufsatz beschrieben (wird im nächsten Heft fortgesetzt).
