Title:	Stahlwasserbau der Schleusen Rothensee und Hohenwarthe
Abstract:	Bei Magdeburg entstehen gegenwärtig Abstiegsbauwerke, die in ihrer Konstruktion und Hubhöhe mit den Schleusen am Main-Donau-Kanal (MDK) vergleichbar sind. Der nach Fertigstellung der Schleusen am MDK zu verzeichnende technische Fortschritt wird insbesondere in der Stahl- und Maschinenbaukonstruktion einschließlich der elektrotechnischen Ausrüstung umgesetzt. Neben einer allgemeinen Vorstellung der Schleusenanlagen des Wasserstraßenkreuzes Magdeburg werden die Schleusenverschlüsse und ihre Details ausführlich beschrieben.
