Über das Buch
This book focuses on the theoretical and practical design of reinforced concrete beams, columns, and frame structures. It offers an analytical approach for the design of normal reinforced concrete structural elements that are compatible with most international design rules for reinforced concrete structures, including, for instance, Europe's Eurocode 2. It picks up where its twin volume, subtitled Mechanics and Design, left off, addressing more advanced ULS aspects, along with instability and second-order analysis aspects. Some recent research results, including the use of non-local mechanics, are also presented.
