60th Birthday of Professor Dr.-Ing. Karl Josef Witt

On 23 May 2011 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Karl Josef Witt, Professor of Soil Engineering at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, celebrated his 60th birthday.

Since the 2010 Soil Congress in Munich, Prof. Witt has increased his dedication to the German Geotechincal Society (DGGT) even more by accepting his election to the vice-chairmanship of the society on 4 November 2010 and thus taking on legal responsibility in managing DGGT as well.
