Considered to be one of the milestones of reinforced concrete construction, Wroclaw's Century Hall has hosted many important events since its opening in 1913.

From 2009 until 2010 the first comprehensive rehabilitation of the structure was taken on since its construction – with severe restrictions due to its listing as an historic monument. Defects and structural damage of the façade and the roof were repaired and the tension ring was strengthened with an external prestressing system.
