Hans Jürgen Kärcher's 70th birthday

Dr.-Ing. Hans Jürgen Kärcher celebrated his 70th birthday at MT Mechatronics.

Historically, MT Mechatronics is a successor of the former MAN factory at Gustavsburg, where Hans J. Kärcher worked from 1974 until 2006. He is still true to his company as consulting engineer. His name is known amongst astronomers around the world as a leading designer of telescopes – he considers himself a pupil of the old "Gustavsburg School of steel construction" (Kurt Klöppel on the 100th jubilee of the founding of the Gustavsburg MAN Factory in 1960).
