Theory and practice: Guidelines and real behavior

"At the time of writing this Editorial, the incumbent government has committed itself to work on guidelines for the sector, in cooperation with the building and construction industry. The agreement with the coalition government thus calls for politicians to accompany the industry in developing these 'Guidelines for the building and construction industry'. These were first presented in March 2009 and contain several statements that are particularly relevant to the current issue (...)"

Ernst & Sohn is pleased to welcome Dr.-Ing. Lars Meyer as a new member of the board of Beton- und Stahlbetonbau. Dr. Meyer is the CEO of the Deutscher Beton- und Bautechnik Verein E.V., in Berlin and joins the board as the successor to Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Litzner.
