  On April 20th the 285 meter long tied arch for the new Waal bridge at Nijmegen in the Netherlands was put into place on two barges. The event was made into an entertaining event by the city. More than 10,000 visitors are said to have watched the process during the day. Structurae was also there for this unusual event and photographed various stages of the move.
