The first important topic are the Trans-European Transport Netowrks (TEN-T), where the main focus is on the construction and financing of infrastructure projects and especially the construction of the Brenner Base Tunnel.

Dr.-Ing. Markus Wetzel elected as new BVPI president
The members assembly of the Federal Association of Supervisory Structural Engineers (BVPI) elected Dr.-Ing. Markus Wetzel as their new president at the annual meeting in Dresden. He follows Dr.-Ing. Hans-Peter Andrä, who has been the president since 2005 and in this time has brought the profession of supervisory engineer to Europe.
