Change of President at the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik

After five years in office, the President of the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Dipl.-Ing. Erich Jasch will retire on October 31 2009, at the age of 68. His successor is Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Breitschaft, who has held a managerial position at the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik since 2003.

On October 27 2009, the president and Hamburg's representative on the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik's supervisory board, Werner Koch, presented Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Breitschaft as the successor to Dipl.-Ing. Erich Jasch, who is retiring as President after five years in office. This occured as part of the farewell ceremony for Erich Jasch.
